Engineer, Building Physics & Building Performance Engineering
Alexander Hill
Alexander Hill is a Building Physics Engineer with a degree in Architectural Engineering from Loughborough University where he studied Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Control Systems as well as structural design. This, matched with a strong passion for conservation and the environment, provided him with a strong background and foundation, to work in building physics and sustainable engineering consulting.
Alexander is enthusiastic about the application of physics to analyse and solve design issues for the built environment; particularly he is interested in the application of control systems to building physics, and the increase of passive designs within the built environment. Further to this he is fascinated with the calculation and analysis of carbon within energy systems and the part the built environment plays in the overarching energy sector.
Alexander is furthering his professional development and is working towards CIBSE chartership.
