New £6 million sports hall and all-weather pitch at this leading Grade II listed building boarding school.

The project for this prestigious state boarding school involves the detailed mechanical and electrical (M&E) services design for a new £6 million sports hall and all-weather pitch, set within the grounds of a leading Grade II listed building. Nestled in 50 acres of picturesque landscape, the development will serve as a central sports hub for both the school and the wider community. The new sports hall will house four badminton courts, two indoor practice netball courts, and a basketball court, complementing the existing floodlit hockey astro and two outdoor netball courts. A full-size all-weather rugby pitch, adaptable for football, has also been constructed to enhance the school’s outdoor sports offering.

Sustainability was a key focus of the scheme, with a substantial on-site photovoltaic (PV) array designed to reduce the carbon footprint of the new facilities.

The design was fully coordinated in Revit, ensuring seamless integration of services with the architectural and structural elements of the building.
