Refurbishment of a 1961-built office block at the junction of Baldwin Street and Queen Charlotte Street in Bristol.
The property totals 4,010m2 and has undergone a comprehensive redevelopment now providing grade A space across 1st – 6th Floors with a new reception, break out area, extensive cycle parking and a basement amenity block with new showers and drying room. The existing building was designed to be naturally ventilated and significant design input was required to introduce HVAC to modern office standards whilst minimising impact on the lettable area.
Pivot+Mark focuses heavily on sustainability and wellbeing having secured a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ accreditation, Wired Score ‘Gold’ and Cycle Score ‘Gold’ certification.
The project was designed in Revit, which was used to aid the planning application, by producing views of rooftop plant from various locations.
