This project involves the full refurbishment and expansion of a landmark six-storey office building in Bristol, featuring a two-storey extension and extensive upgrades to the external works.
The redevelopment has delivered 48,000 sq ft of premium office space, seamlessly blending modern functionality with sophisticated design. The fit-out showcases exposed services for a contemporary aesthetic, while ventilation, heating, and cooling systems are fully compliant with BCO standards. Occupants benefit from enhanced amenities, including secure cycle storage, changing rooms, and shower facilities located in the basement.
Designed in Revit, the project leveraged advanced modelling to support the planning application, including detailed visualisations of rooftop plant from multiple viewpoints.
Sustainability was at the heart of the design, with the building meeting net zero carbon standards . Our specialists conducted a comprehensive CIBSE TM54 analysis alongside an RICS-compliant embodied carbon assessment to quantify the overall carbon footprint. In addition, detailed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modelling was undertaken for BREEAM RFO Mat01.
Due to its hybrid nature—part new build and part refurbishment, the scheme was assessed against a bespoke BREEAM criteria making some credits particularly challenging to achieve. Despite this, One Hundred attained a BREEAM Outstanding, WiredScore Platinum, and an EPC rating of A.
